Pro-Ject Debut 3 and Connect

Treat me gently here...

I've a big Sonos fan, more kit than I care to mention and I've acquired a Connect and realised I can connect a turntable to it to play my ageing vinyl.

There is a Pro-Ject Debut 3 up for grabs locally at a crazy cheap price, hardly been used so I was thinking of buying it to see how I get on

It's been a while since I had anything but Sonos so I'm a little confused if I need a turntable with phono out or just line out to connect to the Connect to get it all up and running..

Any advice greatly received 🙂

There needs to be a phono to line level pre-amp there. Some Pro-Ject turntables have them built in, some don’t, so you’d need to check, but they are also inexpensive as an external device. Then you could plug in to the CONNECT and go.
