Outdoor speakers (two zones) questions

Inside the house I have multiple sonos products. I'm wiring two zones outside (psb outdoor speakers). One set on top deck and one on lower deck. I guess I have a few questions here. I have a marantz sr7008 in my theatre room. I was going to bring wire there and use zone 2 and zone 3 and then hookup a Sonos connect. Question, if I do that I presume I could only have one source for the two outdoor zones (not really an issue), but will it show up on app as one zone thus I'll be only able to adjust volume for both (not each zone on its own)? Would I have to have two connects?

Another option would be I buy a Sonos amp and run 4 speakers to it. Could I then adjust volume per zone or would I need two amps?

Any help would be appreciated! Cheers

A Sonos player -- Connect or Amp -- is controlled as a single "room". Naturally everything downstream of it responds accordingly.

If you want to control two sources independently you'd obviously need two Sonos players.
Yeah I kinda figured that was the case. Thanks
