I have a Sonos 5. Just bought a Sonos 3. Hooked it up per directions. It is on the "room settings". It does not play any sound. What to do?

Couple things - could be an IP conflict and you could try and reboot all your network devices and router.

You can submit diagnostic under settings...advanced and post here for a sonos rep to review.

Did you actually play anything on it? Simply hooking it up wont initiate playback, you need to either group it to the other one to play the same thing, or select another source to play on it. Have you tried either yet? If so, make sure the volume is not set to zero on the Play 3 as you can control each volume separately.
