Line-in Lag

I've had my tv connected via phono leads to my Connect and into my stereo since I bought my Sonos set-up three years ago. It's worked perfectly fine for watching tv, movies, YouTube, etc but now there is about a 2 second lag between the picture and the sound which makes this method completely unwatchable!

What has caused this and why? And what can be done to rectify it.

Check what your Line In Compression setting is. It's possible you have Compression set to 'Automatic', and Sonos may have therefore switched from Uncompressed to Compressed automatically. The latter will introduce a multi-second delay.

To be certain of minimal delay, check that the setting is 'Uncompressed'.
