Me he entretenido en leer todos los comentarios que tiene jamietaylor13 para descubrir la avería que tienen mis dos PLAY:3 pero sin exito. Product Request: Input Selectable Dock for Sonos Amp

Now that the [b]Sonos Amp[/b] has launched in the USA (orders ship 12/3/18) a nice companion product would be an [u]Input Selectable Dock.[/u] The dock would accommodate at least 3 sources (i.e Phono, CD Player, Aux). Design would match the Sonos Amp in all dimensions and color as well as accomdating stackable and/or side-by-side placement. It would have a pass-through power supply to allow the Sonos Amp to be plugged into it thus eliminating the need to provision for two wall outlets. All inputs would be auto-detectable with LED's that turn from red (inactive) to green (active). Inputs would auto-switch to inactive after 30 seconds to 5 minutes of silence (time intervals being selective via Sonos app). Obviously, the dock would not be practical in some installations wherein the Sonos Amp is tucked away in a closet. However, sitting atop my home entertainment cabinet it would be the perfect compliment (i.e Phono and CD Player) to my Sonos Amp. ;) So what are your thoughts and/or

ii. I have been using the URC Two Way Module with URC's Total control Accelerator software on Apple mini iPads to access Sonos Connect. It no longer works. I noticed mention of the problem on your site due to a firmware update. Has URC updated the module to work with your new firmware; if not, when can we expect a fix?

Sound output from Samsung UBD-M9500

I'm in the market for a UHD player and was wondering if anyone knows if the Samsung 9500 can output simultaneous audio streams via the optical connector and the hdmi audio connector ? The reason I am asking is that I would like to feed the optical output signal into my Beam and the output from the hdmi audio connector into the new Sonos Amp. I don't want to play the audio simultaneously. I want to use the Beam for movie viewing but I also want to be able use the 9500 as a cd transport via the hdmi out to the Amp. The two different outputs would be ideal as it would negate the need for another optical switch in my setup.

Linking outdoor TV to Sonos amp and outdoor speakers

New construction. I'm putting a Sonos soundbar on my living room TV connected to two in ceiling speakers in one zone and a TV with two in ceiling speakers on the patio in another zone. The "intelligent living" rep is telling me that I need a balun, connected to two ethernet cables to connect the patio TV to an amp that powers the two ceiling speakers because they don't run audio wire through walls. Does that sound right? Or can I just install an HDMI cable or a HiDef audio cable instead?

Sonos connect

Hey, recently my connect stopped working and appearing on my app. I tried to reset but I can't even do that. Every time I try to reset it the white light appears at start up for a few seconds and that's it. Nothing more. While doing all this it is connected to a Ethernet cable to my modem. Any suggestions would be great.

Sonos Connect (not Connect Amp) - crossover?

Tried searching through the existing posts but wasn't able to find a solution. I have a pair of M&K MPS-1611p powered bookshelf speakers, so that they take line-level inputs. I also have an M&K MX-700 subwoofer. I was hoping to use this set of three speakers with a Sonos Connect. I don't need a Connect Amp as all three speakers are powered. While the bookshelf speakers have high-pass filters and the subwoofer has a low-pass filter, my understanding is that it's always preferable to avoid using those when possible and instead rely on proper bass management. I was wondering what other folks have done in this regard when setting up similar configurations. This was intended to be a standalone setup without a receiver. I was thinking perhaps some sort of line-level crossover or something between the Connect and the speakers, like perhaps an old Paradigm X-30 or maybe even a mini-DSP unit (though I've never set one up so not sure how feasible that is), but was curious what other folks ma

About Sonos Amp

Hi, I have a Sonos Amp connected to 4 Yamaha NS-IW480CWH speakers (2 parallel per channel). Such speakers are rated for 120W output and I'm concern about what's the maximum safe volume level in the Amp to use without damaging the speakers. Someone recommended me to put a 4A fuse in serial with the speakers at each channel. Anyone with experience in this issue can help me? Thanks,

Smart home control of sonos connect amp

Hi all I have a Sonos Connect amp wired to a switch box wired to 4 pairs (different rooms) selectable ceiling mount speakers. Local radio stations Spotify all great. Have started installing Lifx lights around the home, lights being operated by apps on tablet and phone at the moment. Am considering the Google home hub or Lenovo Hub Can anyone tell me if there is any way of controlling the Sonos Connect, perhaps with some sort of 3rd device, or Do I need another Sonos device Best to all Keiron

Passive in-ceiling subwoofer and Sonos Amp

Hi.For my home I am planning to build in in-ceiling speakers in combination with the Sonos Amp.Due to the low installation depth, I am thinking to use two KEF Ci160TR speakers in combination with one Ci200TRb subwoofer (to have a bit of bass anyway).Unfortunately, due to the construction of the house, it is not possible to build in deep (er) speakers.Would the system work nicely if I connect it as shown in the diagram below?The subwoofer can be set to "Mono Mode".

Sonos Connect and Denon AVR Connections

I have 2 play 5 in my living room and other wired speakers on the wall. I used to have an old Yamaha receiver to play my TV sound in the wired wall speakers thru Sonos connect. But when I swapped my Yamaha with Denon AVR X-3000 receiver, the wired speakers stopped playing thru connect. So, I am not able to play TV sound or music on my wired speakers. I am using optical cable to connect Sonos Connect and Denon. All the wiring connections are correct and I tried changing inputs, etc. etc. but nothing is working. Need some sharp brains to help me out here.

Connect volume issues with receiver and turntable

I have Sonos speakers throughout my house and wanted to keep my older stereo system as I have a multi-CD player and Sony turntable (w/ no amp) on a Sony receiver. I got great volume through my Connect on the CD player and anything else on the receiver with exception of the turntable. I actually swapped my receiver for one that now has a phono which provides amplification for the turntable. However, I could only hear the vinyl records on my turntable if I maxed out the volume on the Sonos speakers and it was still too low to actually listen to. It was barely audible. i could not find any solution on this forum that worked so I tried adding a pre-amp that I had previously purchased and connected it in-line between the receiver and connect thus giving me another booster to the volume. This worked great as now I get normal volume out of the Sonos speakers. I also placed the small pre-amp in-line with the turntable to receiver and then connected the receiver to the connect. Best way to connect Amp to current system

One of the amps died - so decided to swap both with Sonos Amp so the ability to add wireless Sonos Move would be possible. Inside the house, there is a stereo cabinet housing DirecTv genie and a preamp (existing from the previous setup). Seemingly the easiest thing to do would be run the existing feeds from the preamp into each of the 2 Sonos Amps (basically just replacing the old amps same config). This would be the method of least work, but is it the ideal setup? Would it be better to have nothing between the speakers and the Sonos Amps? I could run the speakers directly into the amps - but then I would need to push the direcTv feed into one of the amps (via optical to HDMI cable)? Would that even work? It doesn't seem logical to run an arc all the way out to the outside TV - with an addi

"Works with Sonos" - will this address latency issues with a group in same room through an AV-Receive4

My current setup: two Play:1 plus a connect hooked up to high end Yamaha Receiver (6 years old...) with 5.1 speaker setup. I have a slight latency on the Yamaha speakers, and understand what, it is explained in many posts in the forum. I see that "works with Sonos" will enable automatic switching (on/off, volume, input) of the the Receiver. I am now thinking to replace my receiver one with a "works with Sonos" badge (looking at Pioneer VSX-933 as an option). Will this certification also address the latency issue, i.e. only be awarded to amps/receivers that will digitally process the sound fast enough to be synchronised with other Sonos speakers in the same room? If that is not the case, then the "works with Sonos" badge would be pretty pointless. Does anyone have any experience with these new products grouped with Sonos speakers in the same room? FYI, the room in question is about 120m2, so I have a fair surface to cover...

What happens when you add one pair, two pair, or three pairs of speakers to the amp. In terms of loudness. Will having 3 pairs be a lot louder than 2 pairs? Or will each pair get less watts. What I’m trying to get at is if adding up to six speakers a lot loud louder than just 4 or 2 speakers on a single amp.

Hi All, I current have (2) ES-RoOCK-DVC-8 in an outdoor environment both wired back to my Sonos Connect-Amp and are wired together into the back of my Connect amp located in the house. I want to add a third speaker and because it would be extremely difficult to run a third line into the house I'm wondering if I can wire a third speaker to one of the other speakers already installed and its line back to the Connect amp? I would like to hook up two seperate sets of speakers to my new Sonos amp. One set would be outdoor and one set would be indoor. Has anyone had success using an A/B speaker selector switch with their Sonos Amp? If so which selector did you utilize.

Connect Amp

Just setup a Sonos Connect Amp and some Sonance outdoor speakers today. They sound great but the volume is barely audible unless I turn it up past 50% then it gets exponentially louder. Is this normal behavior with the amp or does some calibration need to be performed? Thanks
