Read this, only two 4 ohm should be fitted in parallel. https://sonos.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/269

If a load impedance doesn't match what the amplifier expects, there may be consequences. If the load impedance is too high, the amp might sound weak or dull. If the load impedance is too low, the amp might sound fantastic but eventually blow up. For this reason, amps are often labeled with the minimum ohms you can safely connect.

Not sure what the total ohms would be but yes your current setup is only 2 ohms per channels - left and right. I would unplug and then look at rewiring before you blow your connect:amp

"Essentially 1 (2 speaker 4ohm each) series into the left speaker connection and 1 (2 speaker 4ohm each) series into the right speaker connection." Yes that's how I understand it.

Hi Tony, Did you get your wiring sorted? Dave
I believe so. I have 2 speakers wired in a series per channel. So four speakers total between the two channels with 8 ohm per channel

Oh good, hopefully all sorted now.
I have 4 Bowers & Wilkins CCM663's 8 Ohm speakers wired in series/parallel in my living room ceiling to the Sonos connect:Amp

How do you find they perform? Do you get enough volume/quality from the amp to make this set up suitable for a party?
