Homepod pairing with airplay2 sonos

Since airplay2 allows streaming to multiple speakers, will it be possible to stream music to both a homepod and a airplay2 compatible sonos to allow simultaneous playback across both platforms? I like the idea of having siri on demand, but havent taken the plundge because sonos will sound better even though the homepod has a respectable sound....i'd be in to be able to put homepod in my office, have that sonos to move elsewhere, and not lose the ability to play to my office and the rest of rhe house at the same time.

I would take the wait an see approach. Airplay 2 has not been release, and sonos has not really release too much info on their implementation plan. Since you are not invested yet, just sit back and see how airplay 2 as a whole progress.
