How do you get the downloaded update installed on the unit?

Its up to 0.84 as of June 2021

0.84 does not fix the problem for me. My Arcana slowly stopped working after the Sonos update. Now it doesn’t work at all. I was on an older release of Arcana firmware. I’ve updated to 0.84, but still get ‘ARC/EARC not detected’ on the Arcana when using my HDMI source (which is an nvidia shield). Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

I’d contact HD Fury’s support in their Discord channel.

After an update of this or that I’ll have an issue. Rebooting ARCANA has solved this.

HDMI-CEC can be a pain. As an HDMI connection is established or a unit is powered up an HDMI-CEC handshake should allow both parties to figure out what they are dealing with. In my experience this does not always work out perfectly. Briefly unplugging an HDMI cable will restart the negotiation, but this does not always work as well as a reboot of something. It’s not always obvious which unit is at fault. For example, a cable box issue could fluster the system.
