connecting sonos amp to bluetooth

Hello!

I have been trying (and failing) to get our Sonos speakers going! They worked last summer but am having difficulty now.

 

Sonos is not even an option in Bluetooth. I also keep getting a message that it needs to update but then is unable to.

 

Any advice?!

Hi. First advice is to stop trying to use Bluetooth as it is not a Bluetooth device.

Please describe your situation more fully. Do you have a working Sonos system? Is it just the Sonos Amp you want to add?

What device are you using for control and what OS is it running?

thank you! That’s good to know. 
 

we have a working Sonos system and I have successful added the amp. 
 

a message pops up saying I need to update it but the update is never successful.

 

i will share a photo here 

 

 

 

Now, everything has been restarted and is working hence why this confuses me.
