Connect amp setup issues

Hi, I’m building up my Sonos network and have just got a connect amp but struggling to get it set up, I’ve tried a factory reset, hard wiring from my connect which is connect to my router, wiring the amp direct to my router all with no joy - it always identify’s the new product in my amp but then in the final connection part after I’ve pressed the two buttons on the front it just times out, any ideas guys?
