I currently have a Denon Receiver with floor-speakers connected to my SONOS system via ZP80. Add to that an LG OLED55B7 with an LG 2.1 Soundbar and LG UltraHD BluRay UBK90. The TV is further connected to a Playstation.
The BluRay serves as a CD-player when needed. I may add a turntable to the system in the near future.
I am contemplating replacing the Receiver/ZP80 with a SONOS:AMP but I’m concerned that
- there are too few connectors on the AMP to service this e.g. I can’t use the BluRay as a CD player unless I turn the TV on as well.
- the TV’s ARC HDMI is noted by LG as only supporting LG Audio.
There were known time-lag problems with LG OLED TVs and the SONOS soundbars which is why I went with an LG soundbar.
Is my analysis correct?
Also is the AMP forever tied to having to work in SONOS report-to-base mode?
