amp and third part sub

Can I run a third party sub inside to the AMP and also run a pair of outdoor speakers? Im also running the playbar and 2 play ones inside.

The sub would be playing with anything you had on the outside speakers, it would not be part of the inside room.

If you’re already running a PLAYBAR and want to add a sub to that “room”, you’re better off with a Sonos SUB, which will bond to the PLAYBAR.

But, if your intention is to have the powered sub working with the outside speakers, that would be fine.

If I group the out door and family room together will the third party sub work inside for movies and tv?

Yes, but it will be delayed by 70ms, and you’ll have to control the volume of the sub by controlling the volume of the outside speakers.
