Why does Sonos Customer Support suck?

Bad order entry system. And then they put you on hold for 30 minutes with an endless bad music loop. Aren't they in the music business?

Agreed, for a speaker company the hold music is lack luster.

Sometimes we're busier than normal which can account for long hold times. Hopefully you've already gotten your trouble sorted out, but if I can help with anything let me know.

I appreciate your response but I can't imagine anyone actually chose that music. I think an algorithm selected something that was free. Try it. Call your Customer Support and listen to it for 30 mins. And then try to figure out who would splice the sample abruptly. Almost like the algorithm cut it off 1 second before you would owe music royalties to BMI or ASCAP.
