Wanted to write on here as I’m having trouble with my Sonos one SL and wanted to see if anyone else had similar issues with it.
1. I Planned to move the speaker around the house occasionally. Bedroom, living room and kitchen. Every time I move it to another room I have to retune the sound. I thought that a £180 speaker would save the tuning in each room, so that when I move it to another room I click the room in settings and it automatically retunes itself. But doesn’t. This isn’t good, as if I want to set it up in the kitchen for half an hour while I cook, it takes 10 minutes to get it there.
- I can’t believe it doesn’t have an option to play with Bluetooth. I appreciate WiFi is the best Now but two weeks ago our WiFi was down for two days and again, I can’t believe that a £180 speaker doesn’t have an alternative option for this.
- I find the sonos app so complicated to navigate. I listen to a lot of house music, so lm often trying to find less well-known songs and artists and it’s so complicated on the app very easy on Spotify. If it’s for any reason harder than Spotify to navigate why would I ever use it?
All in all, I bought this speaker in October last year Based on such good reviews and recommendations. I thought that in time i would work out how to use it properly and suss out how to get it to do what I want it to do. However it’s taken this long and a couple of calls to the help centre to realise it’s just not very good. The sound quality is phenomenal but you expect these top of the range speakers to be versatile, and it isn’t.
My partner has a 2 year old £30 speaker and we use it more than the sonos. The sound is terrible but at least we actually listen to music when we want with it.
Anyone else have issues with it?
