Play 5, the 3.5 cable connection is broken

Second Play 5 to break in 14 months. The first one, the wireless board died. Got a new one and now the 3.5 connector stopped working after 10 months. The past 2 months I would get drop outs, I'd unplug and re-plug in again to get it to work. Now I get high pitch sounds and then died completely. It does play music on spotify. however can't play TV. Very disappointed with Sonos quality, I thought they produced a quality product.

This happened to me once, and I found it was a faulty line in lead, not the Sonos, which needed replacing.
