Dead links

Hi

I'm not sure if this has been picked up before, I did a search but couldn't find any mention of it but it seems that links to older topics no longer work.
It seems a shame if a lot of the useful information here gets lost, is there a way of getting to these old posts?

Here are a few examples;

https://sonos.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2036/
http://forums.sonos.com/showthread.php?t=36712
https://ask.sonos.com/sonos/topics/can_i_buy_a_spare_power_cable_for_a_play_1

This topic has been closed for further comments. You can use the search bar to find a similar topic, or create a new one by clicking Create Topic at the top of the page.

A google search on the 3rd one found it - the content should still be there just different links. Usually google gets right. The search here is difficult to narrow down what you want.

For a while the links for those older threads would redirect you to the correct location, but a little while ago the redirects were turned off as they were generally not used anymore. Some of the older threads still have them though.

Just a little trick for the second one, if you have an old forums post and are trying to find it here on the new community you can just use the number of the thread to look it up. If you're looking for http://forums.sonos.com/showthread.php?t=36712

In the URL for any other thread, for example, I'll use: https://en.community.sonos.com/announcements-228985/amazon-music-enhancements-are-here-search-improvements-and-new-account-types-6743822, change the number at the end of the URL to the number after t= on the forum post's URL.

It will look like https://en.community.sonos.com/announcements-228985/amazon-music-enhancements-are-here-search-improvements-and-new-account-types-36712 in our example.

When you go to that page, it'll redirect you to https://en.community.sonos.com/home-theater-228993/51-options-for-playbar-36712, the new address for that thread.

As to the FAQ's, we recently condensed some FAQs and a few are no longer listed because that same information is somewhere else, or no longer relevant. I believe that FAQ you're asking about was merged into this FAQ.
OK. I worked out the 3rd one after I posted, the hack for the second one is useful, cheers guys.
