Changing Sonos account email disassociates Community account?

Maybe a week or so back I changed the email on my Sonos account, coming to the Community forums here today I was prompted to create a Community username. My forum account was disassociated. I changed my email back and voila I’m back into my existing forum account.

 

Maybe I’ll try changing it again, see if it updates across both this time. Not sure how to proceed...
