volume jumps to maximum volume

Several times, seemingly after a recent update, the sonos system throughout the house will jump to maximum value for the active group. It’s happened 4-5 times in the last couple of weeks. Submitted diagnostics 613494193. Typically have all but the home theater active, about 12 speakers.

I have had this happen a few times via iPad after or between updates when doing too much finger pressing on my touch screen while the iOS is trying to think and react to my request (iPad Pro 2)

it was a bit of a shocker having everything turn up to such a loud volume but it hasn’t happened again.

try deleting the sonos app from your device and downloading a fresh copy from the App Store and sign back in.

I think that might fix it.
