Subwoofer Effectiveness

I own a fitness studio in a warehouse setting (4,000sf with 25ft ceilings), and I currently have three Play 5s Gen2 in the space. It kicks great sound, but I was curious about adding a Sonos Subwoofer. Will a single Subwoofer make a big difference in a space this large? Or would I need multiple to make an impact?

Hi, JMGuida. Welcome to the community. I think that SUBs in large open spaces have a tendency to get quite boomy if there's a potential for reverbation. If you haven't found that to be the case with the low-end on the PLAY:5's, it likely will not be an issue for the SUB. As for being powerful enough, I do think it will. Hopefully another community member has experience with a similar situation.
