Sonos Sub Skin/Cover

Hi,
Just ordered a sub to finish off my setup and I know they have a gloss black finish and I'd like to keep it as perfect as possible. I have seen a couple of fabric skins out there but I wondered if anyone here had come up with or know of any other solutions?
Thanks, Andy.

Cheers, thanks for the info. I had seen these but wondered if there were any other options. Seems a lot for a bit of fabric! (Yeah, I know I'm already dropping a load on the sub!!) :8
Because the sub is omni-directional, you can place it anywhere in the room. I've got mine placed between a coach and the wall where it's not seen. Others have placed it under the coach. If you don't like the look of the Sub, hiding it may be a better option than dressing it up.

Thanks.

Its going behind an unused side table in the fron room so will be kind of hidden, my couch sits too close to the wall to put it behind, not sure about underneath though, would have to check the sofa and how its put together.

I don't mind the look of the sub, its just I have kids and a dog and know from experience how easily this kind of gloss finish marks.
I know a friend whos going to knock something up for me so hopefully that should do the trick. If not I'll opt for the SoundSkin suggesed above.

Just a thought, if you got some sticky vinyl, you could always layer a coating of that over it. I've done this with stuff around the house that I don't want to get damaged.

Something like this?

Perhaps it's not PC of me, but the image of a sub dressed up like this makes me chuckle.

Thats a definite option....but I would need to buy the vinyl. Going to see what this cover turns out like that a friend of mine is making and see if it makes any difference to the sound with it on. Will report back.

Something like that, but a little bit less baroque. At least mine was. Haha

I used some pretty cool designs back then, one looked like brushed black steel, though for the life of me I can't find it just now.

Yea, I obviously picked one that would not be favorable to most people, but there a ton of options out that would be rather appealing. I don't have a need to cover my sub, or anything Sonos, but I do like the general idea and might look into it for some other things around the house.
