I’ve been having the same problem with the Sonos iPad app since the last Sonos update. My Sonos Playlists don’t show up, and there isn’t even an option for playlists on the My Sonos screen.

As a temporary workaround, I’ve discovered that if I play any playlist from my streaming service, (or even just add this to the queue), or if I add a few tracks to the queue and save a new Sonos playlist, then all my Sonos playlists will immediately appear on the My Sonos screen. I hope this issue can be fixed, though, so I don’t need to take these extra steps to get to my saved Sonos playlists.

Also: Since the update, if I play a Sonos playlist, it no longer shows up in the recently played list on the My Sonos screen. Prior to the update, the Sonos playlists did show up on the recently played list.

This worked for me too on Android. The "Playlists" section didn't show up until I played any of the music sources from the Browse screen.

This is quite annoying since this problem has existed and also has been reported here for a long time with no permanent fix. Sonos used to stand for quality and it is worrisome that the company continues to blunder over the past years while struggling to turn its market decline around.

Hey Simon,

We are living in unprecedented times! No worries!

It started when I downloaded the new S2 app for Android.

I tried uninstalling it downloading again and reinstalling.

The menu choice “Sonos Favorites” is not available in the Android App

It is present at the top of ”Select a Music Source” in S2 app for my PCs

Having the same issue on iOS.  Playlists are sometimes there, other times not.  Quite frustrating.

Also seeing an issue where Music services like Tidal disappear and I have to re-add them.

Update - 20/12/2020 looks like the playlists are back now for my iPhone 12… however, still no joy on my iPad Pro - diagnostic report: 1600516997

My playlists are missing also, in all devices. Also since the S2 app my speakers have been dropping in and out and will not play any HD, including Sonos Radio. I am most disappointed in all that has been happening in a system I used to love and recommend to everybody.  I submitted a diagnostic report in the early morning hours.

Hi @leenin, thanks for the update and for sending a diagnostic report of your Sonos system. Upon checking, it shows some issues within your system, Bad Cloud Health, Audio Dropout Detected, Playback Stopped due to Not Enough Bandwidth. Kindly check these articles about Music service audio stop and skips and reducing wireless interference for some troubleshooting steps and check the placement of the product since it detects low signal bandwidth.

Keep us posted on how it goes and we're here to answer any further questions you have.

Simon B,

I did all this a few months ago. If you look under my user name I posted a more in depth set of problems this morning with a ticket number from a month or so ago and two diagnostic numbers from the last two days.

No matter what I do, I cannot get My Playlist to come up under My Sonos. The category doesn’t even exist. I use an older iphone 6s for the home Sonos system. I created a playlist as we were playing tunes, added songs, resaved.. everything seemed fine. I can still now, add songs to the playlist if I choose a song and then under the song menu… add to Sonos playlist. However I cannot find the playlist in itself to play it! Super frustrating.

Did you contact the phone support folks, as suggested in the post before yours?
