Sonos defaulting to tune in despite deleting it

I’m just trying to play a BBC radio station through my Sonos beam.

But it keeps referring to ‘TuneIn’ where the BBC no longer broadcast stations.

I have the BBC Sounds app set up in Sonos and it works when I activate it manually from the app but doesn’t work under a voice command. Through Google assistance.

It just says ‘ alright, playing BBC Radio 1 on tune in, sorry I couldn’t find what you asked for‘ 

 

why is it defaulting to tune in?

It will be because that’s what the Google Assistant is presently set to use - I don’t think GA supports the BBC Sounds App. I think it’s only Alexa that supports that at the moment.

You perhaps need to ask Google to support the BBC Sounds Service on 3rd party speakers, like Sonos.
