Beam and One question

I have a Beam in the sitting room mainly for the TV but also to access music from my library on my iMac. My wife thinks that the control app is easier to use than our existing Logitech set up (I agree). We are thinking of buying a One (maybe two) to set up in separate rooms (kitchen and bedroom). Can all of them (Beam, One's) operate independently of one another and simultaneously? I know we could group them to play the same music) but the goal is 2/3 each playing different selections. My feeling is Yes, but need to be sure before spending the cash!

Yes, to all of your questions. You can play the speakers separately, together, or any combination in between.
