Question

Arc: what's the rationale behind the 4" distance from the TV?

Can someone at Sonos please explain the rationale of the 4" distance between the Arc and the TV when wall mounting? I assume that it's to give clearance for the top-firing tweeters, but my TV is only 2 cm off of the wall- the Arc sticks out far in front of it. Wouldn't this mean that I could (in theory) do fine by mounting it closer to the TV? And if so, how close can I really get before performance is affected?

Hi @StrayTexel.

Welcome, thank you for reaching out to Sonos Community.

As long as the up-firing speakers are not being blocked you can still have a good sound performance on the Sonos arc.
