Compatibility with Mac OS X 10.11 "El Capitan"

The customer's desktop Mac had OS X 10.10 Yosemite before. The customer also has an iPhone with Sonos Controller on it. You think it could have been an update of Sonos Controller on iPhone that caused it?

If they ran an update on Sonos using that phone it would have updated all the players and the phone's controller, but it wouldn't have done anything to the computer controller. The next time they looked at the computer's Sonos software it should have a message on screen that it needs to update, with a button that says to update. Unless they've missed a lot of software updates, there shouldn't be any need to reconfigure the music library, or follow any other steps beyond updating the computer.

That all said, it's always a bit tricky to say what it is someone did on the computer before you get to take a look. I'm sure you have fun with that just about every day.
