Use Sonos as speaker and not an Alexa mic

Hello! I have a Beam and a Roam, and I would love them to work with Alexa as just speakers, not microphones. I don’t want to ever have Alexa’s voice coming out of my Sonoses.

For example, I’d like to tell my Echo Dot, “Alexa, play a song on the Roam,” and for it to only PLAY there. I do not want the Sonos to serve as the Alexa, only the Echo Dot. Is this possible?

Yes.  Turn off the mics on your Sonos speakers  and just use the echo.  If you want to avoid having to add ‘on the Roam’ to every command...in the Alexa app, setup Alexa groups where your Sonos are the default speakers for a specific echo.
