Unable to begin playback

I was part of the beta and generally things worked fine. Now one of my devices won't respond to Alexa control, the other one still works. When I try playing from the desktop app, the one that won't respond to Alexa also returns the error 'Unable to begin playback' when I start a historical selection (in this case from Tune In). Any ideas how I can troubleshoot? I have tried forgetting the skill and devices then re adding, and the device works fine through the sonos app, and also a third party app called Macronos.
