Music Not playing using Alexa

My Roam has mostly worked for months but not won’t play music with Alexa to Prime or Spotify.  It says it is playing but it does not.   I have spent  hours removing and reinstalling apps but nothing has helped.  I have rebooted my network and the device a dozen times and that has not helped.   All my true Alexa devices work well.  This is very frustrating.  People have better things to do than fight with technology while support just takes the whole weekend off while users are frustrated.

If you click on the orange button that says ‘View real-time service status’, you’ll see that Sonos indicates a recognized issue with Alexa verbal control. They are, unfortunately, beholden to Amazon to fix this issue. Perhaps your complaint needs to be directed at Amazon?
