In native Amazon devices, follow-up mode on Alexa does not kick in when music is being streamed. This is better because it minimises the muted mode (when Alexa is listening), which allows the music to play at normal volume asap.
I have noticed that Alexa on Sonos does not discriminate and always goes into follow-up mode if the feature is enabled. As a result, songs start playing at their normal volume ~5 seconds into the song when I use Alexa to request it, and mid-song volume changes are more disruptive than they could be.
May I please request that Alexa on Sonos behaves in the same way as the native Amazon Echo devices in this regard?
