i nevergot this 😞 who do you email ??
Bit annoyed that i've just went to purchase the amazon dot using the 50% discount to find the code has expired.
Is there any valid codes? I've spend a fortune on Sonos equipment lately and really wanted to try the voice control.
Amazon just sent an email with a $25 Dot discount code. Good until Nov 20th.

Wait for black friday... You're likely to have the same discount on dots..

darn it, I never got one of these and now it's over. Bummer. Been a Sonos customer for many years. 😞

Then they obviously decided to allot more, because it was declared done last week. Good for them.
Promotion ends midnight Sunday 29th October.

Or Amazon runs out of the allotted number of codes, which apparently happened. Whether they are going to allot more, who knows.

Not true. I got a new code from Sonos yesterday.

Hi everyone, if you think you're eligible for the Echo Dot promotion it'd be best to give us a call on our sales line. The team can help check your eligibility and see about getting you a code if you are.

The general terms of the promotion are here, if you're looking for them.
I have only just signed up. Am I too late for a code

Sonos sales got it sorted for me. Ordered my dot $25 off.
I emailed sales and was told I was eligible and sent a code. Unfortunately on amazon it said the code was invalid. I then emailed the Sonos sales person who sent me the code and he replied with a new code. Still doesn't work...ughhh! On with Amazon support who have me on hold as they are on hold in the sonos support queue. LOL. Not seeming likely to get the promotion at this point.
Blame Amazon. It is their promotion, and they set the amount at which they would cease issuing codes.
Rang Sonos this morning to be told they are no longer issuing the code. This disappointing as even the sales assistant in the major store wher I bought it thought the offer was valid until 29th. To say I feel misled is an understatement.

I was in the beta and did not receive a code. I had 2 Dots in my Amazon/Alexa account until yesterday (sold 1 since I got a One), maybe that's why they didn't send me the code? But then all beta testers should have Echo devices already.
I just called and was told that a very small group of beta testers were given this coupon and that I was not eligible. I have bought 2 playbars, two play 2s, 1 play one, 2 sonos 1's, and a bass speaker within the past two months. Anyone else told this? Sound right to you?

I was told, by Sonos, that this promotion was an Amazon promotion in which people who were part of the beta testing for (I believe I remember correctly) Alexa integration with Sonos over the last several months. The Verge wrote their article claiming that "The deal is pretty simple: if you’re a Sonos customer, you should be getting a unique code sometime this week with the discount, which marks down the Echo Dot from the usual $49.99 price tag to $24.99." Of course there is no source in which the link. This is where the confusion came from for me at least.
The official terms of the AMAZON promotion are as follows (bold added by me):

I was told on Sonos FB that they ran out of codes, if they never wanted to give it to their costumers then never should have said they will. Sonos is scam, would never recommend it to my friends. :@:@:@

Sonos is a scam? What does not being able to get a promo code that wasn't intended to be sent to you (on a non-sonos product) somehow bring the conclusion that Sonos is a scam? Really??

What do you mean by not intended to me...I think being a customer of sonos products proves that I was eligible for it but never received it, calling them scam bcoz they said they will send it to their customers. On the other hand it is not about money, it is about how sonos deal with their loyal customers. Hope It clears it and not hard feelings mate :):D

I must be mistaken in never seeing Sonos say they were sending everyone coupons. If they said they were sending everyone a coupon and didn't . . that still wouldn't be a scam. You could call it other things but not a scam (scam would be they benefit by you not getting the coupon). But then again I must have missed where they said they were sending everyone a coupon.

Back to deciding if the Echo Dot or Google Home mini is the way to go...

If you aren't already dug into one assistant brand, figure out what's important to you, in a voice assistant.
If you have an Android phone, are looking for a music player, answers to questions, or a little bit of smart home control(which they're adding more supported devices constantly), the Google Home Mini may be best.
On the other hand, if you do a lot of Amazon ordering, do a lot of smart home control, basic information look up, but sound quality isn't a big deal, try out the Amazon Echo.

It's an abuse of costumers! But I hear the set designers got their codes just fine. They are a happy bunch.
