I was working at home on my windows 10 laptop using Skype for Business. One of the meeting attendees was named Alex, when I spoke his name Alexa on my beam woke up. Alexa said something that I didn’t hear properly, and then the Skype audio started to play from my Sonos Beam. In a panic I hit the play button on the beam silencing the audio. How do I set this up in future as it’s a great feature but no idea how it worked.
I checked my Alexa app and Skype communication is not even enabled so I assume that the Beam was somehow connecting with my Windows 10 audio?

You can press the microphone button on the top of the Beam to temporarily turn off the mic, and this will turn off Alexa.  As far as why the skype audio started playing through the Beam, I didn’t know that was even possible to be honest.  Without knowing more about your setup, or what command was given, it’s impossible to really know.
