What is the simplest and most cost effective way of making a Sonos system voice activatable? I'm running 5 zones consisting of 2 Player 1, a Player 5, a ZP100 and ZP 80

Add a voice activated device from either Amazon or Google, which will control the Sonos. If you prefer another speaker, add a Sonos One, which will do the same thing.

You now also have an inexpensive option like an Echo Show 5 that will do voice and will also display artwork for music that is being played via voice command from internet services like Amazon Music. The only requirement to get this to work is to wire connect it to one of the line in jack pair on the play 5 or the ZPs.

An example of a combination of kit bought from 2002 to 2019, now working together in perfect harmony. With so much new music now being discovered on the net, getting artwork for what is playing is a very useful addition, while the Quads remain excellent music makers.

And the vinyl clock face gives me a reminder of audio roots minus all the hassles of vinyl! It is replaced by album art when music is streaming.
