I’m wondering if anyone can tell me if Local music downloaded on Spotify will work to Airplay from my phone without an internet connection (WIFI network but no internet) to the Sonos.

I’d think so. Essentially at that point, you’re using AirPlay 2 to send content that exists on your phone to an AirPlay 2 enabled Sonos device. The Sonos doesn’t care what the source of the music is that’s coming in over AirPlay 2. The key thing is is your phone able to reach the speaker using AirPlay 2 using your wifi network. Once that’s done, you can play anything possible using AirPlay 2.
