Sonos as a router

I used to have my Sonos setup as router extenders.
this no longer seems to be the case and I cannot find the appropriate setting in the menu.

any ideas?

That must have been a painfully slow network to connect to. Not only is it carrying all of the Sonos traffic, but the ports on Sonos devices are not the fastest connections, either.

Hi. The SonosNet mesh is unchanged. But the capability to connect an Android device to SonosNet was recently removed.

Sonos was never a router though.

What are you looking to do?
well I used to be able to login and use the internet via the Sonos just like a Wi-Fi extender.
perhaps router isn't the right term.
I wonder why that was removed

Wire an access point to the lan port of the Sonos unit and you are back in business. Browsing does not affect Sonos music play and is quite good in terms of page loading speeds. If you are into HD video streaming though, there may be constraints and conflicts but no more than when you were using an Android phone to connect to Sonos net for WiFi/Internet access.
