Setting up Architectural Speakers (in-wall/in-ceiling) and AMP to Arc for a Projector

Hi Everyone,

I have no space to put in-wall speakers near the vicinity of the projector screen but have the opportunity to add a soundbar to make sure there is sound coming from the front and not just the sides and ceiling.

Can anyone help me figure out how i can connect my existing Architectural AMP (in-ceiling/in-wall speakers) with a soundbar like the ARC?

Much appreciated.

Thank you

Add the Arc to the system, then add the Amp as surrounds.  Pretty simple.

Thanks jgatie. Do you by any chance also know how to connect Epson 4010 4K projector to the sound system? Would I need an HDMI Arc adaptor to connect the Sonos amp to the projector?

That projector has not audio output, not even HDMI-ARC.  So you would need an HDMI switch/ audio extractor.  Unfortunately at this time, there is no device that will extract HDMI-eARC, only optical.  So you would need an HDMI switch/extractor with an optical out connected to the optical-to-HDMI adapter included with the Arc.

Note:  There is a company looking into making an HDMI-eARC extractor.  See this thread here: https://en.community.sonos.com/home-theater-228993/hd-fury-is-working-on-an-earc-solution-for-sonos-arc-full-audio-atmos-from-any-hdmi-sources-6842652
