Question

Music library on networked Mac

I'd like to access my main music library (Apple Lossless files) located on a Mac Mini running Snow Leopard. Since the Sonos app won't run on that Mac, I am trying to set it up on another Mac, but I'm not sure how to "point" the Sonos app to the networked Mac. Is it even possible?

https://support.sonos.com/s/article/257?language=en_US gives you help on setting up your music library.
I am not a Mac user. On a PC the Sonos app has a 'Browse' button to enable you to find your way to anywhere on the network, but I don't think the Mac version does.

If not, then you will have to identify the network name of the Mac Mini. This may help (not sure though)

Or you may be able to reach it via the Mac Mini's IP address, and start the music library path in Sonos with something like:

//ip address of Mac Mini/

Not a fully satisfactory answer so maybe someone with better Mac knowledge than me (i.e. almost anyone) will be able to help more.
