I currently have 4 rooms with speakers (mono, stereo and stereo w/sub with 1 speaker wired into the switch and the rest being wireless). I was thinking about adding 2 more rooms with 1 ONE SL in each but wanted to have those speakers on my child-friendly guest SSID so the kids can operate with their iPads, and not give them access to my gear on the private network. Do you foresee any issues or have known problems with this setup?

A guest WiFi setup usually refers to an network that does not allow peer to peer networking, only allows devices to access the internet.  If that’s what you’re referring to, then you won’t be able to setup Sonos speakers on that network, as you need peer to peer access essentially.  If your guest WiFi is a 2nd network, but with a different password or no password at all, that allows the proper access, then it will work.
