Boost doesn't work with switch connected

You'll need to provide a few more details for anyone to be able to help you.

We get that you have a BOOST, that's fine. What brand and make of switch are you connecting it to? What other Sonos devices do you have? What device is the controller on? What version of the controller is it?

Have you checked to see if your switch is on the list provided by Sonos?
