Question

Advantage of 2 Boosts

I currently have my boost hard wired to my router. I have an outdoor bar that I have an Connect Amp connected to speakers (via wifi) but it gets spotty coverage. There is a CAT6 cable that is connected to my router at the bar. Will I be ok to just hard wire my Connect Amp to it, or should I get another boost and hardwire to it.

Thanks,

Croft

Just Ethernet wire the Connect:Amp.

Note that you may then want to disable the WiFi interface on the C:A.

If the Wifi interface is disabled the Connect:AMP won’t work as extender within the Sonos mesh.

Yes. That’s why I suggested it, assuming it’s just the C:A Sonos device that’s in the vicinity of the bar.

So the C:A would then just plug into the router or would I plug it into the Boost?

Yes, Ethernet cable direct to the router.

Awesome, seems to work great, no need to buy a boost now. Thanks, Croft
