Hello!There is a new Sonos Port in our office. The Sonos Port is located in the server cabinet, connected via an ethernet wire to the nearest switch. The network is new and the Internet is about 200 Mbps. There is only one subnet. There are no conflicts on the network. The network engineer confirmed it. I noticed a problem connecting to the Sonos Port with the new S2 version (updated). The updated Sonos Port (with S2) is not detected on the network. I tried to connect from my smartphone (Sonos S2 App), and also tried to find it from my computer (with Sonos S2). A long search for the device, eventually not to be found. Then I made a rollback (Downgrade) to the S1 version. After the rollback, the Sonos Port began to be detected normally on the network. In the previous version, an update message is intrusively coming out. Dear developers, please check this situation, it is necessary to fix the bug and optimize the new version of S2 for Port. I have had the same issue while using TWO different trackpad with TWO different iMacs. When I browse even with side swipe turned off I have the same issue as the Magic Mouse issue in the now closed comment. Old Mac and track pad was doing it for over a year. New Mac and track pad (humble brag) delivered today. Does the same thing. So it goes across computers, peripherals, software.
What is the purpose of Bridge if it prevents updates from downloading and installing on Sonos products. The support site recommends permanently disconnecting the Bridge
I’ve had my Sonos system working ok until recently. Underwent an ISP change that threw some things for a loop.Where I’m at now is….I have an Apple Music Subscription. What I’d like to be able to do is download one of my Favorites playlist to the local hard drive. Then, add that folder or playlist to My Library in Sonos so I don’t have to rely on streaming as much but rather play these local files that Apple lets me use for offline use. Is this possible with Sonos/Apple? I’ve been trying my best to add it and it does not work. It will however recognize files I uploaded to Apple Music (so I guess they look at them as mine), but I can’t get the other local downloaded files to appear. Any way to do what I’m thinking? Thank you!

Hello Sonos community. I have been having serious issues and difficulties with my Sonos for a long time, and I am desperately hopeful that I can find some solutions here. I will provide as much detail as possible. My setup: Two (2) Play 3s, one (1) Roam, and one (1) Connect Amp, which is hard wired to speakers and a record player. I have had the Play 3s and the Connect Amp for about ten years. I use the S2 app on my Samsung phone. We mostly listen to Spotify, but I also have a music library on my computer's hard drive. We listen to vinyl records as well. Over a year ago, I started having playback issues, where the music would cut in and out, sometimes in one room but not the others, an sometimes all of the rooms at the same time. It got so bad that we could not listen comfortably at all. In addition, the responsiveness on the app was generally very slow. While music is playing, I open the app to adjust the volume or pause, and the song title showing is incorrect (it shows a

There is a seemingly related but frozen topic on this from a decade ago. Surprising this is still happening to people. This on a Macbook Pro M1 (16-inch, 2021), running Sonoma 14.4.1 (23E224)I have a shared folder containing all my music which is not an Apple Music / iTunes library. It has read access for everyone.I set in Privacy & Security > Full Disc Access: added Sonos and restarted it.It isn’t connecting, here is the error dialog:I’m not sure what username/password it’s complaining about. I’m giving it the admin credentials.
As far as I am informed it is still not possible to use two era 300’ s as a stereo pair when listening to music when these two era 300’s are setup in a surround setting together with an arc and a sub gen 3.If you want to use them as stereo pair, everything needs to be installed from the start?And if I want to switch back to home cinema setup, I need to install them once more? Why is it not possible to switch between cinema setup and stereo setup in the Sonos appIt would be great when I can youse the 2 Era 300’s for listening to music or cinema with a simple press of a button. Will there be an update to let this work in the future ??
Now I am living in Beijing China. I have used speakers since I was in Japan. I moved to China and brought speakers. Now I have problems for using speakers. I cannot access Sonos radio, Amazon music and Spotify and so on. Also I cannot download and install Sonos voice control function. how can we connect these music apps? How I can fix the situation? please advise.
